SLO} is an event of ZV Steiermark focusing on young Slovenian architecture. SLO} takes place in the framework of "auszeit – hanns-koren-bedenkjahr 2006" including SLO} {interviews at www.gat.st as well as SLO} {discussions and SLO} {exhibition at the HDA Graz.
Slowenien, terra incognita. Two years after EU enlargement, from an Austrian view Slovenia ist still rather unknown – also in terms of architecture. The SLO series of events is therefore fully dedicated to Austria´s southernmost neighbouring country with its very lively and equally productive young architectural scene.
SLO} {interviews is a comprehensive portrait of the guests of SLO}{discussions at www.gat.st, complemented by an architectural archive on Slovenian architecture at www.nextroom.at
SLO} {discussions presents representatives of the younger Slovenian generation of architects, who will be discussing topical issues of Slovenian architecture with internationally renowned architectural critics and the audience at HDA.
SLO} {exhibition compliments the discussion series with the exhibition „NEXT TO YOU: Young Architecture from Maribor“ at HDA.
